POSITION PURPOSE:

Compiles data from multiple sources to process the daily student extract download, the ECATS (Every Child Accountability and Tracking System) transportation report data, and Cherwell request for the EC routing transportation staff. Performs review of ECATS trans tab and the IEP (Individualized Education Plan) accommodation to ensure the accuracy of the data received and reports any discrepancies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

• Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access; Google Apps; 

• Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills; 

• Critical thinking and problem solving skills; 

• Ability to complete complex tasks and minimize errors with attention to detail; 

• Ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks with deadlines; 

• Ability to work independently, complete tasks, and exercise independent judgment in the absence of clear directives; 

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback; 

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, parents, staff members of external funding agencies, and the community.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent. 

CERTIFICATION AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

None

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience using ECATS, TIMS (Transportation Information Management System), and OASIS (Online Access to Student Information System); 

• Experience with compiling and analyzing data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Compiles data from multiple sources to process the daily student extract download data. 

2. Compiles, analyzes, and processes the data received via ECATS transportation reports. 

3. Performs review of ECATS trans tab and the IEP accommodation to ensure the accuracy of the data received and reports any discrepancies or issues related to the ECAT trans tab data. 

4. Processes Cherwell request to review the student accommodation. 

5. Performs daily task pertaining to verify trans process. 

6. Performs a variety of general office duties to support the activities of EC Transportation. 

7. Performs other related duties, as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, and copiers. The position, at times, must be able to come into direct contact with school system staff, students, and the public. Work is consistent with sedentary work, but at times may require the ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and otherwise move objects up to 40 pounds.
