Responsible for sourcing, contacting and pre-screening candidates for certified and non-certified positions within the district. Creatively and proactively use sourcing techniques to create a pipeline of candidates for high volume/time sensitive positions. Applies specific business and labor market knowledge to help the organization and candidates reach optimal hiring decisions.
1. Works with assigned department to forecast and determine open positions, understand position requirements, and candidate success profiles.
2. Sources and recruits applicants by using methods including but not limited to, print and electronic, advertising, social media, career fairs, networking, cold calling, college and university programs, community agencies, workforce centers, professional associations, and employee referral programs to build talent pipelines for current and future
3. Reviews resumes, sets up screenings, screens candidates and schedules candidates for interviews with department hiring managers.
4/ Manages resume flow and candidate communications to set and maintain clear expectations related to next steps within recruiting process and disposition.
5. Completes and distributes weekly reports on position vacancies, class fills, sourcing activities and applicant
6. Works cooperatively with Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and implement plans and maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers’ interactions, and other recruiting activities and accurate utilization of ATS according to standards.
7. Articulates in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking
8. Recommends ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes, fine tuning standard processes, and staying informed of trends and innovation recruiting techniques.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to use a variety of office equipment such as computers, scanners, and copiers. Must be able to communicate effectively. At times requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects up to ten pounds. The work requires driving automotive equipment. Due to the amount of time spent standing and/or walking, physical requirements are consistent with those for sedentary work.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to work in an office environment and come into direct contact with school system staff, students, staff members of external funding agencies, and the community.
